Three MFA students to present thesis exhibitions

Three candidates for Master of Fine Arts degrees from the Alfred University School of Art and Design will present their thesis projects in exhibitions opening Friday, May 6, and remaining in view through Saturday, May 14.


ALFRED, NY – Three candidates for Master of Fine Arts degrees from the Alfred University School of Art and Design will present their thesis projects in exhibitions opening Friday, May 6, and remaining in view through Saturday, May 14.

MFA students Madeleine Speicher-Willis, Tony Baker, and Corwyn Lund will each present their work in exhibitions, with opening receptions scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 6.

Speicher-Willis’ MFA painting thesis exhibition, titled “Lath and Key,” will be in the Cohen Gallery on Main Street in Alfred. Baker’s and Lund’s ceramic art exhibitions will both be in the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery on the Alfred University campus.
