Second Light Matter Festival to open in fall, now accepting submissions

Alfred University’s School of Art and Design this fall will host the second Light Matter Festival, inaugurated in 2021 and dedicated to gathering works of experimental film, video art, and the media arts.

The festival will open formally over the weekend of Nov. 4-6. The festival will present four to six programs, and screenings will take place in Homes Auditorium. Suitable works also will be selected for an exhibition in the TS1/Harland Snodgrass Gallery, which features a range of possibilities for multi-channel work.
