October Art Walk

The Alfred Art Walk returns on Thursday, October 20 from 5-8pm. The Art Walk features a large number of events and is free and open to the public.

The Alfred Art Walk takes place the Third Thursday every month from 5-8pm. Visit alfredartwalk.org for a complete listing of events.

On October 20, the following venues will be open  and feature a variety of events. Alfred Ceramic Art Museum: 6pm Coral Lambert, Professor of Sculpture at Alfred University, will give a tour of the William Underhill: Casting a Legacy exhibition at the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum. Following the tour, Coral will take questions.

Fosdick-Nelson Gallery Opening Reception 6-8pm Division of Ceramic Art

Hinkle Library Alfred State College features a display of historical photographs of Alfred State Construction Fund projects

Holmes Auditorium Open Screening featuring digital, video and sonic art by faculty, staff and students

IDEA Lab 2nd Flor Harder Hall: Monument & Mythology Wes Brown and Peter Jadoonath

The Shop at the Cohen Gallery features works by Alfred University faculty

Alfred Art Walk is a collaborative monthly venture created by the galleries in the Village of Alfred and on the campuses of Alfred University and Alfred State College in an effort to foster dialogue within the local arts communities. The goal is to support local artists and galleries and to highlight Alfred as the arts destination it truly is. ​
