D. Chase Angier, professor of dance at Alfred University, has been selected to be an international juror for the Prague Quadrennial, scheduled for June 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Since 1967, Prague Quadrennial has hosted countries and regions with their high-quality art of scenography and performance design in two competitive exhibitions: Exhibition of Countries and Regions and Student Exhibition. The best artists of Prague Quadrennial 2023 will be awarded by an international jury, comprised of leading practitioners and theorists in scenography, architecture, and design.

In previous Prague Quadrennials, Angier has co-curated “Formations,” a seven-day international performance event; been a featured speaker; and taught workshops with Marketa Fantova, who is now the artistic director for the Prague Quadrennial. For Prague Quadrennial 2023, Angier is one of seven jurors selected to judge the exhibitions and performances in the Exhibition of Countries and Regions and the Student Exhibition.
