Upcoming Art Walk Set for November 17

Alfred Art Walk, which takes place the third Thursday of every month from 5-8pm in Alfred, will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022.


November 17th promises to be an exciting evening. The Alfred Art Walk features a number of exciting events on November 17.

The evening starts early at 4:30pm. The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum is hosting the 18th Perkins Lecture in Nevins Theater with award-winning arts writer, scholar, and lecturer Ed LEbow ('76)

The Art Walk club is organizing a holiday sale in the Harder Hall lobby to take place for the duration of the evening.

The Cohen, Fosdick-Nelson and Robert C. Turner Galleries will all be open.

The Confucious Institute will host a lecture: Musical Map of China: An Evening of Music Adventure with Producer Yunchuan Ye in Holmes Auditorium at 5:30pm

The IDEA Lab, located on the 2nd floor of Harder Hall hosts an artist talk at 6pm Disruption, Colorized, with the artists featured in the exhibition of the same name.

Alfred Art Walk is a collaborative monthly venture created by the galleries in the Village of Alfred and on the campuses of Alfred University and Alfred State College in an effort to foster dialogue within the local arts communities.
