Alfred University Professor of Printmaking Joseph Scheer is serving as one of eight co-curators and jurors for the first International Digital Printmaking Art Exhibition, which will be held from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15 at the Art Museum of Changsha Normal University, in Changsha, China.


Alfred University Professor of Printmaking Joseph Scheer is serving as one of eight co-curators and jurors for the first International Digital Printmaking Art Exhibition, which will be held from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15 at the Art Museum of Changsha Normal University, in Changsha, China.

The first international digital print art exhibition to be held in China, the event will also feature past resident artists at Alfred University’s Institute for Electronic Arts, School of Art and Design, including Gary Hill, LoVid, Xiaowen Chen, and Yunda Sun.

The exhibition will gather more than 150 works by more than 80 artists. It also will examine digital printing issues encountered in different societies/countries to learn about the creation, teaching, and development of digital printmaking today.
