Alfred University’s master’s degree program in school counseling has been rated among the best in the nation by Optimal, a leading education research publisher.
ALFRED, NY – Alfred University’s master’s degree program in school counseling has been rated among the best in the nation by Optimal, a leading education research publisher.
Optimal utilizes data to help people to make better decisions about careers and education. Using GradReports, a tool it developed to help students choose a college or graduate program that meets their needs, Optimal rates colleges and universities by undergraduate degree programs; master’s degree programs; and on-line degree programs.
In its listing of the “25 Best Master's in School Counseling Programs 2020,” Optimal ranks Alfred University ninth in the nation.
Optimal creates its rankings by in-depth student reviews of colleges and universities, rating schools on tuition, median debt, and median salary. The company touts its GradReports as “the first college rankings to use by-major student earnings data available for the first time from the U.S. Department of Education.”
Of the schools listed in the Top 25 Master’s in School Counseling Programs, Alfred University’s median debt ($19,979) was by far the lowest.
