Giovina Lloyd ’96, ’97 MBA, vice president of Business and Finance at Alfred University, was among those honored by Rochester Business Journal on Wednesday, Aug. 19, as a Financial Leaders Award recipient.


ALFRED, NY – Giovina Lloyd ’96, ’97 MBA, vice president of Business and Finance at Alfred University, was among those honored by Rochester Business Journal on Wednesday, Aug. 19, as a Financial Leaders Award recipient.

Lloyd was among 19 financial professionals selected by RBJ to receive the 2020 Financial Leaders Awards. She was one of three cited in the “Chief Financial Officer — Large Company” category.

RBJ and the Rochester chapter of Financial Executives International launched the Financial Executive of the Year awards in 2008. This year, the awards were renamed the Financial Leaders Awards and were expanded to include financial professionals in other roles. Lloyd and other honorees were recognized during a virtual awards ceremony held Wednesday.

Lloyd earned bachelor’s (1996) and master’s degrees (1997) in business administration from Alfred University. She has been with the University since 1999, serving as vice president of Business and Finance since 2008.
