Two Alfred University students exhibiting work in Best of SUNY show

Two Alfred University students in the School of Art and Design, Rooke Hyde, a second-year graduate student in the Sculpture/Dimensional Studies program, and fourth-year student Chloe Kottwitz have been in accepted in New York York state’s Best of SUNY Art Exhibition.


Two Alfred University students in the School of Art and Design, Rooke Hyde, a second-year graduate student in the Sculpture/Dimensional Studies program, and fourth-year student Chloe Kottwitz have been in accepted in New York York state’s Best of SUNY Art Exhibition.

The SUNY Student Art exhibition at SUNY Plaza showcases the best student works produced on campuses as determined by art department faculty in colleges and universities across New York. 

Best of SUNY is a juried show, selected from all works submitted to SUNY Student Art at SUNY Plaza. Winners will be determined by an independent panel in late spring 2020. Three students will be awarded Best of Show, and will receive $1,000 scholarships. Four students will be awarded Honorable mention and will receive $500 prizes.
