Employee Assistance Program

With the recent passing of our friend and colleague Brian Dodge we know that employees may be struggling with this and may need help coping with his loss.

We want you to know that through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) you can receive up to 8 free sessions of counseling per incident. You will need to call our EAP at 1-800-EAP-CALL and give them our Company ID of 9334. They can set you up with a local counselor in the area that you desire, or they have over the phone sessions available as well.

This is a completely free and confidential service to you and your family members. If you have any questions on how to use the EAP, please contact Kayleigh Misner, HR Generalist.

Register now: Celebrate Service, Celebrate Allegany Day of Service, 9/28!

Saturday, September 28 is National Good Neighbor Day - and Alfred University's fall day of service, Celebrate Service, Celebrate Allegany! We'll give back to Alfred and surrounding communities by volunteering: current projects include playground maintenance and painting the fire hall.

This event is FREE, and the Gary Horowitz Service Learning Program supplies each volunteer with a t-shirt, boxed lunch, and transportation (if necessary). The GHSLP also provides coffee and donuts at check-in, which starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 28. Service projects will start between 9:30 am and 10:00 am, and all volunteers should be back on campus by 1:00 pm.

To participate, sign up by Friday, September 20. Email Corey Fecteau at fecteauc@alfred.edu to register as an individual volunteer, or with a club, class, team, or other group. If you sign up together, you can serve together. Let Corey know if you have any questions! #alfredserves
