The Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual display that is an opportunity for those affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. The shirts are hung on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of dating and domestic violence.

The Clothesline Project is being sponsored by the Sexual Assault and Violence Education (SAVE) committee and AU Libraries.

October 9: Shirt decorating from 1-8 PM in the Kenyon/Allen Room (2nd floor of Powell)

October 10: Shirt display installed at Herrick Library, alongside reading materials on the topic.

If you cannot make it to the t-shirt design on 10/9, you can stop into the Wellness Center to create a shirt. The Wellness Center is open M-F from 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-4:30 pm.
