Canvas Trainings Available from ITS

ITS is pleased to provide faculty and staff with training and support as they use Canvas, AU's Learning Management System. A self-paced course is available for anyone who would like to learn more about setting up a course in Canvas. All instructors are welcome to participate, and the course is available to AU users who have the course link.

Synchronous (real-time) sessions are also available for all Canvas tasks and features including but not limited to the following:
- General course setup/ overview
- Assessments (quizzes, assignments, discussions)
- Accessibility
- Grading/ Rubrics/ Speed Grader
- Analytics
- Tools that are Helpful to Students

The self-paced course can be accessed using the link provided. Training sessions can be scheduled by contacting Meghanne Freivald at 607-871-2363 or via email.

Years of Service Recognition

The Employee Recognition Committee would like to announce Years of Service dates for the month of July 2021. The Committee will be observing years 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50.

Notice to CWS Employers for 2021-22

If you are planning on hiring CWS students for the 2021-22 academic year, you will need to complete a Federal College Work-Study Position Request/Job Description. Click on the link below to access the form and instructions. The completed forms are due by August 2, 2021.

HR Tip of the Month

Did you know that you can see your paystub by Wednesday afternoon of a Payroll week in Bannerweb?

1. Log into Bannerweb
2. Click on the Employee Tab
3. Click on Pay Information
4. Click on Pay Stub
5. Select Year, Click Display

You will then be able to view any paystubs for that year and have printable access to them at any time! If you feel there is an issue with your pay, you should report the issue to Payroll immediately.

You can also view your direct deposit allocation, earnings history, deductions history, and earnings by position on the Pay Information tab.

If you wish to update any of your payroll information such as direct deposit/withholdings please visit the HR website for forms. Please hand deliver/inner office/mail any form with personal information on it. Please do not email forms with personal data on them.
