Meghan Smyth: Turner Teaching Fellow

Ceramic sculptor Meghan Smythe concludes her three year tenure as the Turner Teaching Fellow within the Division of Ceramic Art. The Turner Teaching Fellowship was established in honor of Robert Chapman Turner, distinguished Professor Emeritus at Alfred. Meghan's teaching and approach to the ceramic figure ceramic sculpture has made a significant impact on our students. She has maintained a vigorous studio practice while in Alfred. Her culminating exhibition showcasing her unique approach to large scale figuration in Ceramic sculpture, is not to be missed. The exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, July 14 from 5-7pm and runs through July 26. Summer gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday 11am-2pm.

New Alfred University Marketing Request Form

Dear Alfred University Campus Community,

The Office of Marketing and Communications has created a new, more reliable workflow for managing projects of all types and sizes. We have updated the "Project Request Form" that you can still find on our unit's web page, https://my.alfred.edu/mar.... Our new form incorporates and facilitates website content changes, and we ask that faculty and staff and administration no longer use the now-retired Web Request Form.

Once you submit your request, a MarComm staff member will immediately be notified by our project management platform, Asana. You will promptly receive a telephone call or email message from a member of the staff to confirm the details of your request.

And, going forward, we welcome your responses regarding your experience in using this new tool.
