Electronic Waste collection, again . . .

It's that time of year again, to gather up electronic and universal waste for disposal. If you haven't already, please take time now to gather items and inventory them, so we can tell the hauler how much to expect to pick up. We are aiming for a removal date after the 15th of June.

Please follow the directions below for removal of your e-waste:
NYSCC (statutory):
Ceramics School can put the items in the hallways (labeled with an e-waste sign) and it will be picked up.
All other NYSCC areas (by department or program area) please submit a work order for pick-up using the descriptor of e-waste, within the work order system (be advised that there is now only one work order system, campus-wide, and it is at this link:

AU (non-statutory):
Organize items by department or program area, then please submit a work order for pick-up using the descriptor of e-waste within the work order. Use the link above.

Makers on Main Art & Craft Show

Join us as we celebrate makers, artists, and crafters during Reunion Weekend 2025 on Saturday, June 7th, from 10 am to 4 pm. This event is FREE to the public to come shop from some of our area's talented makers!
Are you a painter, baker, woodcarver, candy or soap maker? Are you a crafts artist looking to share your talents? We welcome you to join us as a vendor, a demonstrator or both! Space is still available! Reserve your booth space today! There is a $15 vendor registration fee to help cover advertising costs.

Celebrating Pride Month 2025 � Join Us in Unity and Celebration

Dear Alfred University Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community,

As we welcome Pride Month 2025, Alfred University reaffirms its unwavering commitment to inclusion, equity, and the celebration of our LGBTQIA+ community. Pride Month is a time to honor the history, achievements, and resilience of LGBTQIA+ individuals, and to come together in solidarity for a more just and inclusive future.

We are excited to share that the SUNY System Administration will be participating in this year's Capital PRIDE Parade and Festival on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Washington Park in Albany-and all members of the Alfred University community are invited to join!

Event Details:

Capital PRIDE Parade
Begins at State Street, Albany
Kickoff: 11:30 AM
Hosted by the Pride Center of the Capital Region
Directly benefits LGBTQIA+ support programs in our region

How to Participate:
Join the SUNY System Administration Team and march proudly alongside fellow students, faculty, and staff from across the state.
