Cushing Alley closed July 16 for construction work

Due to construction work involving a crane, Cushing Alley will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, and will remain closed throughout the day until work is completed and the crane is demobilized.

Vehicular access to Cushing Alley will be limited to emergency vehicles, which can access the roadway from its north end, off Pine Hill. In addition to Cushing Alley being closed, the top two floors of Binns-Merrill Hall must be unoccupied July 16, and loading exits on the sub-basement of Binns-Merrill will be closed. All restricted areas will be properly signed and taped off.

In order to safely mobilize and demobilize the crane, there will be some parking limitations in the Maker Way parking lot behind the STEP Lab, specifically in the row of parking spaces closest to Seidlin Annex and the Hall of Glass Science.
