Reunion 2016 Honored Classes and Special Groups include: Alfred's Golden Saxons (anyone who graduated 1965 or earlier) and the classes of: 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997 and 2002. Special Reunions are also being held for our our Greeks, the nursing program and InterVarsity. (The classes of 2007 and 2012 will celebrate their Reunions at Homecoming Fall 2017).

Please be aware the schedule is subject to change. Additional details will be added as Reunion draws closer.

$20 Registration Fee. Everyone attending all or any part of Reunion must register and pay a registration fee. The registration fee covers all on campus events with the exception of required ticket events, the Alumni Golf Scramble or the Wine & Canvas Event.

5:30 pm – Class of ’57 Nurses Welcome Gathering and Dinner - Ticket required. $25 per person

6 pm – Saxon Circle Dinner – Hosted by President Mark Zupan. Invitation only.

8 pm – Welcome Back Party at Alex’s

Friday, June 9

9 am – 11 pm - Reunion Registration & Check-In

9 am – Foster Lake Trail Hike

9 – 11 am – Greek Memorabilia on Display

10 am - Saxon Golf Scramble – Wellsville Country Club. Preregistration Required. $100 per person

10 am – 12 pm - Alumni Council Meeting

11 am – 6 pm - AU Fitness Center Open

12 – 3 pm – Alumni, Friends & Faculty Community Lunch – Picnic style meal brought to you by area restaurants. Mingle with fellow returning alumni, current and emeriti faculty and local community members and meet AU’s President Mark Zupan. Pay as you go.

1 – 3 pm - Campus Tours - Take a walk down memory lane visiting some of the most iconic buildings on AU’s campus in addition to touring some of AU’s newest facilities

1 – 3 pm – Greek House Tour – Tours will include University owned houses – The Fasano House, The Welcome Center (former Delta Sig House); The Cohen Gallery (Former ZBT House);  Joel’s House (common spaces only,  former  SAMMY House) and the International House (common space only, former Sigma House)

1 – 4 pm – Golden Saxons & Class of ’67 Lounge

1 – 4 pm – Greek Lounge

2 pm – Greek Activities – Activities may include: Campus Beautification Project – Join Kathy Woughter to help mark our new XC trail; Can Jam; Corn Hole, and more!

2 pm – AU’s Greek History Presentation – Laurie McFadden ’91

3 pm - Glass Blowing Demonstration – Witness first-hand some of the most beautiful glass pieces being made in the country.

3 – 5 pm - Greek Memorabilia on Display

5 – 6:30 pm – Delta Sigma Phi – Wine and Cheese Reception – Delta Sigma Phi brothers will gather at the Welcome Center for the chance to reconnect and reunite. (Exclusive to the Delta Sigma Phi brotherhood).

5 pm – Welcome Back Cocktail Reception & Dinner – Enjoy a cash bar cocktail reception and dinner to follow at 6:30 pm in the Joyce/Walton Recreation Center honoring Alfred University’s Greek Community. All returning alumni are welcome – Ticket required. $25 per person

8 pm – Greek Photos

8 – 10 pm – A night in the Knight Club – Enjoy this time relaxing and sharing memories.

8:30 – 10 pm - Nurses Cocktail Reception 

10 pm – Midnight - Observatory Open – (clear skies only)

2 – 4 pm - Wine and Canvas - Join fellow alumni at this unique and fun event. Your art instructor will guide you step-by-step as you create your own beautiful keepsake painting of one of Alfred University’s iconic buildings. Enjoy your favorite beverage and let your creative side shine. Must be 21 or older. Preregistration required. Space is limited. $35 per person.

2:30 – 3:30 pm – President’s Presentation – Mark Zupan, “Inside Job: How government insiders subvert the public interest.” President of Alfred University Mark Zupan will discuss the topic of his recent book The Problems of Guarding the Guardians:  why, how, when, where and which government insiders have subverted the public interest.

3 – 4 pm - Open House for Herrick Library, CDC and the Judson Leadership Center

3 – 4 pm – Greek Memorabilia on Display

3 – 4:30 pm Equestrian Center Tour & Demonstration - Take a tour of AU’s beautiful Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at the Maris Cuneo Equine Park and witness beauty and speed in motion as some of our most talented horses and riders put on a show just for you!

3 – 5 pm - AU Fitness Center Open

6 pm – Class of ’67 Dinner - Ticket required. $35 per person.

6 pm – InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Dinner - Ticket required. $35 per person.

8 pm – IVCF Celebrate with Song – Join the IVCF group as they end the evening with inspirational songs and hymns. 

8 – 11 pm – Memories Lounge - Relax and reminisce in a quiet atmosphere

9 pm - Midnight - Evening entertainment
