Class Ring Sales

Stop by the table in the lobby of Powell to look over the class ring selection and place your order!

Representatives from Balfour will be available to answer your questions and help with ring sizing.

MANAGING TEST-ANXIETY WORKSHOP

COME LEARN ABOUT HOW TO MANAGE TEST-ANXIETY with members of the Center for Academic Success (CAS). This is an interactive workshop that will give you real strategies to use!

Bergren Forum - Gordon Atlas

The Bergren Forum sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Provost's Office will be meeting at 12:10 pm on Thursday, February 22 in the Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center.

Bring a brown bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.

Speaker: Gordon Atlas
Topic: "The Meaning of Dreams"

Prof. of Psychology Gordon Atlas will address the question of whether dreams are really meaningful, and will offer a practical guide to exploring the mysterious narratives that emerge in our nightly dreams

Shary Boyle: Ways of Learning: Curiosity and Collaboration

- Location: Holmes Auditorium

Shary Boyle lives in Toronto and works across diverse media, including sculpture, drawing, installation and performance. Collected and exhibited internationally, Boyle represented Canada with her project Music for Silence at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.

Shary Boyle's work has been included in Ceramix : Ceramics and art from Rodin to Schutte, organized by the Bonnefantenmuseum in the Netherlands and la maison rouge in Paris, France (2016), South Korea’s Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale (2017), and the Phaidon, UK publication Vitamin C: Clay and Ceramic in Contemporary Art (2017). Her first public art commission will be installed Spring 2018 on the front grounds of the Gardiner Ceramic Museum in Toronto. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US FOR HER TALK!
