Alfred University continues to monitor the national and regional trends of the COVID-19 infection rate. In particular, we are watching the activity related to the latest omicron variant, XBB. 1.5.
While our status in Allegany County and for the community of Alfred remain GREEN, we are being vigilant as people return from holiday season travels and visits with others worldwide. We will continue to provide updates on this website and state any change in status should we need to do so.
We encourage people to continue to practice safe hygiene and preventive measures to remain safe and healthy.
