Pre-Return

Students:

  • All students will be required to be vaccinated before they return to the area
  • Those students who are not able to access a vaccine provider in their home region may return to Alfred as long as they commit to getting vaccinated as soon as possible on their return
  • New or transferring students will be asked to provide evidence of having received a vaccination prior to returning to Alfred
  • Exemptions will be available for those with a documented medical condition or a strongly held religious belief
  • Any student who receives a vaccination exemption or who is not fully vaccinated will be required to undergo weekly COVID testing beginning the 1st week of classes
  • Booster clinics will be held for the campus community January 21st and January 27th.

Faculty and Staff:

  • Faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated before classes begin, to contribute to a safer, healthier environment
  • Wellness Center staff will be provided with relevant Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) if requested
