|Position Title:||Director of Student Activities|
|Responsibilities:||The Director of Student Activities serves as the primary coordinator of all co-curricular activities on our residential campus. This includes the supervision of over eighty student organizations; the presentation of over one hundred one-time events; and the planning of various series. Events are both internally created (using internal resources and talents) and externally contracted (requiring the negotiation of contracts and the presentation of visiting artists). Experience with large concerts is very important. The Director is also responsible for the oversight of the Powell Campus Center and its various functions throughout the academic year. The Director will assist in creating and disseminating information and marketing for all campus events while maintaining websites, social media and attendance tracking software; serve as direct advisor of approximately 10 student organizations; plan for and train all student organizations on their responsibilities and accountability as club leaders; and co-supervise and evaluate a staff including a full-time support staff and a graduate assistant.|
|Requirements:||Master's Degree in College Student Development, Higher Education, or related area.|
|Experience:||Minimum three years experience in student activities, preferably with college students.
