Position Title: Assistant Professor of School Psychology
Location: Division of Counseling & School Psychology
Responsibilities: The Division of Counseling and School Psychology at Alfred University, due to recent and pending retirements, invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track positions in School Psychology beginning August 2018. We are seeking candidates from a broad spectrum of interests or specialties within school psychology. For one of the two positions, particular consideration will be given to candidates who hold a BCBA/BCBA-D.

The Division contains programs in Counseling, School Psychology, and College Student Development. The Counseling and School Psychology programs within the Division offer graduate programs leading to state and national certification as a School Psychologist and NYS Licensed Psychologist, as well as, NYS certification as a School Counselor and NYS Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor. Counseling programs are CACREP accredited while the School Psychology programs are approved by NASP and accredited by APA.

Candidates will be responsible for teaching courses and supervision of practica/internships in both the MA/CAS and Psy.D.School Psychology programs. Instruction could include online or hybrid courses and remote instruction to, or from, a secondary campus.

It is situated on a sprawling 232 acre campus where nearly 2,500 undergraduate and graduate students reside in a vibrant, student-centered learning community.
Requirements: Qualified applicants will have a doctoral degree in School, Clinical, or Counseling Psychology (ABD candidates will be considered) and be licensed or license eligible in New York State.
