|Position Title:||Visiting French Instructor|
|Location:||Division of Modern Languages|
|Responsibilities:||The Division of Modern Languages at Alfred University invites applications for a one-year position in French starting with our Fall, 2018 semester. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor depending on qualifications. Teaching load will be three (3) courses per semester, all levels, including one elective in area of specialization.
Alfred University, located in rural New York State (about 75 miles south of Rochester), is a small, selective, comprehensive university with a student-centered focus and a long-standing tradition of excellence in liberal education and a strong commitment to social justice.
|Requirements:||Ph.D. preferred, but ABDs will be considered.|
