Position Title:Secretary
Location:Division of Education and AUNY
Responsibilities:Alfred University's Division of Education seeks a qualified individual for the position of secretary. The successful candidate will perform a variety of general secretarial and clerical duties, provide administrative assistance to division faculty members, supervise work-study students, monitor and reconcile the departmental budget and working on the AUNY summer residency program. This is full-time 12-month position.
Requirements:Associate's degree in a business-related field is preferred.

This position requires organization, efficiency, accuracy, initiative, and ability to manage multiple projects. Positive interactions with students, faculty, University staff and school district personnel are crucial to successful performance in this position.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and web-based data management systems, such as Banner and Live Text, is expected.
Experience: A minimum of two years of secretarial experience in an office setting is required.
