The Honors House at 8 Park Street is a residence for five students who are participating in the Honors Program. A full kitchen, computer/study room and living room with comfy couches and rocking chairs make it a homey setting for Honors seminars, especially those that involve cooking or viewing films.
The Honors House is the scene each fall of the "Death by Chocolate" reception that welcomes new students in the Honors Program. Typically, more than 150 people show up to sample the variety of chocolate desserts. Other activities have included a haunted house at Halloween, folk dancing and dinners for faculty.
