Three Alfred University Students Win in Speedball Art Paper Competition

Congratulations to three Alfred University Extended Print Media students for their accomplishments in the international Speedball Art Arnhem paper competition.

Gabi Yeager (2nd place, Wildcard Category), Jessica Cheng (3rd place, Screenprint Category), and Rusty Wiig (3rd place, Etching Category) all received cash prizes.

Alfred University received an additional award for “Most Winning Entries from One School,” in addition to a financial award equal to the cash prizes for the students. The award will go towards the purchase of Speedball products and development of the University’s printmaking facilities and supplies.

The three winners' prints will be exhibited at the Southern Graphics Council International Conference, the major printmaking conference in the U.S., which takes part in Atlanta this March.
