MONTCLAIR, NJ – An Alfred University alumna will have artwork included as part of an exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the opening of Studio Montclair.

Bette Blank earned a bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University in 1961 and a master’s of science in 1962. She has two pieces in the “20/20” art show, named as such because all paintings in the exhibition measure 20-by-20 inches.

Blank’s contributions to the show are two paintings, Michael’s Chair and M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E. The exhibition opens Friday, Oct. 13, and runs through Dec. 17 at Academy Square Galleries, 33 Plymouth St., Montclair, NJ. An opening reception will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 6-9 p.m.
