Eight venues open for Alfred Art Walk

ALFRED, NY – Stroll through Alfred, NY, Friday, Feb. 2, between 6 and 9 p.m. to view exhibitions in eight galleries and venues scattered throughout the village.

The event is free and open to the public. Participating venues include:

The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum.  Two exhibitions open that evening.

Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, Alfred University. Queering Space exhibition. Curated by Loren Britton, Christie DeNizio, Sara Ferguson, Asad Pervaiz, Res and Erica Wessmann.

Robert C. Turner Gallery, Alfred University. “Visibility,” student-curated from LGBTQ and allied artists; “Happiness Without Struggle,” by Charlie Best and Brittany Belvette.

Cohen Gallery, Alfred University, 55 N. Main St.

Gallery 2 Gifts of Distinction, 43 N. Main St.
