Performing Arts 2018 season opens with recital by tenor Van Druff, pianist Galvan
ALFRED, NY – A recital by tenor Boris Van Druff, accompanied by pianist Kurt Galvan, opens the spring 2018 season of the Alfred University Division of Performing Arts.
Van Druff and Galvan’s recital “In Love and War – European Songs of the 19th Century and World War I,” will be held Sunday, Feb. 4, at 3 p.m. in Susan Howell Hall on the AU campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
A native of Olean, NY, Van Druff is an adjunct professor of voice at Alfred University who specializes in opera and musical theater. Galvan is a music accompanist in the AU Division of Performing Arts who performed and accompanied at last summer’s MostArts Festival at Alfred University.
