Alfred University celebrates National School Counseling Week
ALFRED, NY – Alfred University’s on-campus and downstate programs in School Counseling are celebrating National School Counseling Week, which began Monday, Feb. 5, and runs through Friday, Feb. 9.
National School Counseling Week is sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) with the purpose of focusing pubic attention on the unique contribution of professional counselors in school systems throughout the United States. It also highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Alfred University offers graduate degree programs in School Counseling on the AU campus and through its Downstate Counseling Program (New York City area).
