Articles by Alfred University students published in journal of Phi Sigma Iota
ALFRED, NY – Two Alfred University students have had articles published in the Spring 2018 issue of The Forum, the official journal Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Honor Society.
Elisabeth Estep, a junior biology major from Horseheads, NY, minoring in Spanish, published an article titled “A Psychoanalytical Criticism of Resguardo personal.” The article was prepared during Estep’s Literary Theory Seminar last spring. Resguardo personal is a 1985 play written by Spanish playwright Paloma Pedrero.
Taylor Jaczko, a senior foreign language/culture studies major from New Windsor, NY, published an article titled “Le développement de Ni Putes Ni Soumises: Le féminisme des banlieues.” The article was written by Jaczko last fall for the Women in Social Justice in the Francophone World event.

Alfred University’s Division of Modern Languages holds the Sigma Tau Chapter #61 of Phi Sigma Iota and will celebrate the induction of its next cohort on April 10.
