Weekly Wednesday Artists' Speaker Series

For Zoom users, please register in advance.As part of the ninth installment of the Weekly Wednesday Artists’ Speaker Series, Art History division faculty members; Meghen Jones, James Hansen, and Gerar Edizel will give insight into their personal artistic journeys. This event will take place on Wednesday, October 13th at 7:00 pm in Holmes Auditorium and virtually on Zoom. The Weekly Wednesday Arts Speaker Series invites faculty, staff, and guest artists to present short ten-minute talks which focus on their own creative practice outside of the classroom. The evening will also include raffles and community engagement. "We're not just building a speaker series," shares Dan Napolitano, Associate Dean of the Arts, "We are building a gathering space - with an effort to safely reclaim in-person gatherings with accommodations for those requesting online access. The goal of this series is 'connection by inspiration'." The live, in-person event is available on zoom. For zoom users, please register in advance for this event.
