Silent Film Concert by Dennis James
Just in time for Halloween: Internationally renowned theatre organist and silent film accompanist, Dennis James will appear in concert to perform in Holmes Auditorium, Harder Hall on Thursday, October 13 at 7:30 pm. For over fifty years Dennis James has played a pivotal role in the international revival of silent films screened with historically authentic, fully researched and stylistically preserved live music performances. The 1925 silent film “Phantom of the Opera” starring Lon Chaney will be performed for a frightfully entertaining evening. This is a free public event is sponsored by the Music Department with funds from the Herrick Gallman Performing Arts Fund.
