Please join the division of Drawing and Painting on April 28 from 4:30-6:30 in Binns-Merrill Hall 134 (Painting Grad Studios) to celebrate the work of International Randall Chair Van Maltese. This open studio marks the culmination of the Toronto native's residency here at Alfred.
The Division of Drawing and Painting offers a comprehensive approach to visual thinking and the making of artwork. With equal emphasis on materials and concepts, we offer a broad range of courses and experiences to help negotiate the myriad options available in contemporary art practice. We support an inclusive approach to the disciplines of Drawing and Painting and work to encourage broad thinking, both about these media and about the world.
