Bergren Forum - Sarah Blood, “Cakes, Skates, and the Toilet Factory”

Reconnecting to an artistic practice through the pursuit of pleasure, play, and persistence, Sarah Blood, Assoc. Prof. of Light, will share her sabbatical research, questioning traditional expectations of the “serious artist” at work and how embracing moments of joy and uninhibited play outside the studio can catalyze growth inside the studio.

The Bergren Forum takes place every Thursday lunchtime during the semester from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm in Nevins Theater. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.
