Residence Life : Mixed Class Housing

Cannon - Home to 79 of our students, they have a short walk to Ade dining hall, the academic buildings and McLane Center.

Kruson - A traditional corridor-style building housing 83 students, Kruson is located on the South side of campus next to Brick Hall and within minutes of Herrick Memorial Library.

Openhym - Located on the south end of campus, Openhym is our largest residence hall, housing 150 students with two floors each of men and women. Openhym is adjacent to the Ford Street Apartments, and close to Herrick Library and the Powell Campus Center.

Pine Hill Suites - Lower Pine Hill includes Davis, Kenyon and Shults; Middle Pine Hill includes Crawford and Tredennick, and Upper Pine Hill includes Norwood and Phillips. Each building houses 58 students. There are ten suites per building, each with three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchenette and a living room, with laundry facilities and a lounge at the lower level. The Suites are on an elevation and offer a great view of the village and hills of Alfred.

Moskowitz Hall - Also known as the 'Unity House' and renovated in 2017, 95 students occupy the three co-ed/non-gendered floors in Moskowitz. It features private baths throughout. Moskowitz Hall offers a nice view of campus and is closest to the Science Center, Ade Dining Hall, the Miller Performing Arts buildings, and McLane Center.

Tefft - Located next to Moskowitz Hall, Tefft has three co-ed floors and a community of 99 students. Tefft has new bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling showers and wood flooring throughout the hall.
