Del Rey Honeycutt
Director

Del Rey has been in the mental/behavioral health field for approximately 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings.  Her time in the field has afforded her opportunities to experience numerous roles, to include that of a clinical director in both the community and university settings.  She has experience with a wide range of clinical presentations and populations, but found her passion lies with the adolescent and young adult populations, exploring and processing with them as they navigate through the various life transitions.

Del Rey obtained her undergraduate degree in Sociology and English from the University of Arizona and her graduate degree from a CACREP accredited program in Community Counseling from the University of Phoenix.  She is currently working on her dissertation to finalize her doctoral studies in Health Psychology.  Del Rey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York.  She utilizes a holistic approach to her work with clients, considering the mind/body connection, and incorporates facets of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, positive psychology, and solution-focused techniques.  She values working in a health and counseling integrated setting and enjoys learning from her colleagues in other disciplines.
