- Each day will run 3 sessions -
- Session 1 - Fielding/Catching
- Session 2 - Hitting
- Session 3 - Pitching
- Campers will be able to attend one, two, or all three sessions
The clinics will be held on the Alfred University's Harrington Softball Field for kids/teens to learn skills dedicated to fielding and catching, hitting and pitching. Campers can select a specific session of their interest or may chose to attend all three.
Who can Attend?
Tuesday, July 19 is for kids ages 9-12
Wednesday, July 20 is for teens ages 13-18
General Information: (Both days will run on the same schedule)
- Registration for Session 1 - Fielding and Catching - 8:30 AM
- Session runs from 9-10:30 AM
- Registration for Session 2 - Hitting - 10:00 AM
- Session runs from 10:30-Noon
- Registration for Session 3 - Pitching - 11:30 AM
- Session runs from 12:00 PM (noon) - 1:30 PM

Enrollment Deadline: July 15, 2016
Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is a good idea to enroll as early as possible. Once accepted campers will receive, along with their acceptance letter, instructions on where to find (on our website) all required materials including medical, emergency contact, and parental permission forms. Updated immunization information (including dates) is also required prior to the camp.
The camp will be run by Alfred University's Head Softball Coach, Luke Wesneski. This is Luke's first year as head softball coach at Alfred University. He comes to AU from Division I Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA where he served as a volunteer assistant since September, 2014. Prior to taking an assistant's position at Bucknell, Wesneski served as assistant softball coach at Susquehanna University in Sellinsgrove, PA. During his tenure at Susquehanna, his team went 40-9 and won a Landmark Conference Championship in 2013, qualifying for the NCAA tournament and placing third in regional play. While serving as assistant coach at Susquehanna, Luke and the head coach Kathy Kroupa were awarded Coaching Staff of the Year honors by the Landmark Conference. Prior to his time at Susquehanna, Luke was a successful high school coach in Central PA, leading the Canton High School team 2003-2007 and Williamsport High School team from 2008-10. He also organized the Fall College Classic, a round-robin fall tournament for college teams held in Sunbury, PA and has worked at camps at Bucknell and Susquehanna as well as camps in New Jersey and Maryland.

Should you find you need to cancel your registration, full refunds will be made for cancellations received by July 1. 50% refunds will be made for cancellations received July 2-10. No refunds are given for cancellations received after July 10, 2016.

The University may cancel any course or activity at any time because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees, but is not responsible for cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. If we do not meet our minimum enrollment number by two business days after the July 1 deadline, the camp will be cancelled, campers and their parents will be notified and camp fees will be refunded.
