Alumni Spotlight is an electronic newsletter produced by the Alfred University Office of Marketing and Communications and published periodically throughout the year. It aims to highlight news and accomplishments of our amazing alumni. Alumni news is included in the Class Notes section of the Alfred alumni magazine, which is published twice a year. Alfred University alumnus Chris Romanchock ’02, a grade 7-12 social studies teacher at Canisteo-Greenwood Central School, was named the 2025 New York State Rural Teacher of the Year.
