World-renowned economist Nadarajan “Raj” Chetty spoke to graduating students at Alfred University about the role education plays in creating a pathway to a better life and urged them to make the world a better place by creating opportunities for others.

Professor Pauline Stamp of Hartwick College has been appointed Dean of Alfred University’s College of Business, Alfred University Provost and Chief Operating Officer Beth Ann Dobie announced today. Her appointment becomes effective July 1, 2024.


Alfred University honors two longtime employees at Board of Trustees Dinner, spotlights athletics

Two longtime employees—Mark Lewis, College of Business dean, and Mary McAllister, corporate secretary to the University—were recognized at Thursday (May 9) evening’s Board of Trustees dinner. The University’s athletics program, following the Saxon Hill Sports Complex groundbreaking ceremony held earlier in the evening, was also highlighted.
