Her photographic study, "hawk(s) taking off," examines how digital imaging systems distort our experience of nature and landscape.

Chloe used an image sourced from Google Street View, where a hawk appears mid-flight but, due to the platform's method of stitching photographs, seems to exist in multiple positions at once. The unnatural portrayal reveals how digital technologies, while promising a complete documentation of reality, actually produce new forms of distortion and fragmentation."

Chloe’s work is featured alongside 70+ other international artists.

Noorderlicht is a platform that, since 1990, has made visual culture widely accessible, using photography and lens-based media as tools for dialogue and reflection. In addition to the biennial Noorderlicht Festival, Noorderlicht also organizes exhibitions, an education program, and runs its own publishing house and print lab.
