Paul Briggs, assistant professor of ceramic art in Alfred University’s School of Art & Design, will serve as the keynote presenter at the Michigan Ceramic Art Association (MCAA) Conference.
The conference, titled “Michigan Mud 2025,” is scheduled for May 14-23 at Western Michigan University’s Morean Ceramics Research Center in Kalamazoo, MI.
As Morean Resident, Briggs will deliver the conference keynote presentation on May 16. He will work with students at the Morean Ceramics Research Center, offering a conceptually challenging curriculum that is more experimental rather than focused on final projects.
