Join us as we celebrate 10 Seasons of Classical Music with guest pianists, Avery Gagliano [2015 Grand prize winner], Evelina Kleczek [2025 Grand prize winner], and the return of Russian pianist, Asiya Korepanova.
The International MostArts Orchestra will be led under the direction of conductors Yuval Zaliouk and Steven Thomas and guest conductor, David Itkin.
Composer and soloist Gabriel Jenks, will premier a new work commissioned for the celebration of Season 10.
MostArts Festival 2026 takes place from July 12-18. Evening Concert Series, International Orchestra and Artists, Music Under the Stars, Sound Bite Sampler Chamber Music Series, Family Concert, Young Pianist Competition and more...Tickets are on Sale online.

Are you a painter, baker, woodcarver, glassblower, candy or soap maker-or a crafty creator of any kind? We'd love to showcase your talents! Join us as we celebrate makers, artists, and crafters during Reunion Weekend 2026 at the Makers on Main Art & Craft Show on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We invite you to be a vendor and share your hand-crafted, original creations with our community. Vendors are asked to provide their own tables, chairs, and display materials. Booth spaces are available now, so be sure to reserve yours soon! A $15 vendor registration fee helps support promotional and advertising efforts.
Come be part of a fun, creative day-we can't wait to see what you make!

School Psychology Doctoral Candidate, Ms. Abby Nevill will be defending her dissertation titled, "The Lingering Effects of School Disruption: Examining Pandemic-Era Reading Loss and Recovery Data in Elementary Students" on Friday May 8th starting at 9:00 am, in the basement classroom of the Powell Institute. All members of the campus community are welcome and encouraged to attend!

The 2026 Alfred University Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Galanis Family Arena (McLane Center). Faculty are required to attend, while staff may attend without a ticket but must show a University ID. Graduates will receive five guest tickets, available May 4-15 at the Powell Campus Bookstore.
Guest seating opens at 8:30 a.m., with parking and shuttle service available. Special seating accommodations and staff family seating must be requested by May 1. Children under 3 do not need a ticket if seated on a lap, but strollers are not permitted.
Overflow seating will be available in Nevins Theater, and the ceremony will also be livestreamed online. Professional photos will be taken during the event and available for purchase afterward.

* All approved 2026 graduates and students on the official walk-list (per the Registrar) will receive five tickets for the Commencement Ceremony. Tickets can be picked up May 4-15 at the AU Bookstore.
* Keep tickets safe-lost tickets cannot be replaced.
* Tickets are issued only to students on the official graduation list who applied to graduate and confirmed attendance for the May 16 ceremony.
* Guest seating opens at 8:30 a.m. All parking lots will be open. Shuttles will run from 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. from all parking areas to the McLane Center and back.
* Children under age 3 do not need a ticket if seated on a lap. Strollers and car seats are not allowed due to fire regulations.
* The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Alfred University website.
* Overflow seating is available in Nevins Theater (Powell Campus Center).
* Students must arrive by 9:00 a.m. at the Wellness Annex in the McLane Center.
