Alfred University Performing Arts Division presents an Evening of Dance February 20 – 22 in the Miller Theater at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
This concert will feature new original dance works created by Alfred University students Alex Connelly, Grace Fox, Ella Genovese, Erie Hammond and Shirite Westreich; faculty members D. Chase Angier, Erin Law, Colleen Wahl; and the Alfred University Dance Residency Artists Remi Harris and Mark Schmidt. The works will be performed by dynamic students from across campus, with costumes are designed by students Veronica Burns, Ceci Wall, Ceal Grabner, Steph Vargas, Izzy Wachtel and Marcos Luley. The musical accompaniment is a mixture of original compositions for the specific dance works and preexisting music and sound design.
