On Friday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m., the Alfred University Orchestra, under the direction of Lisa Lantz, professor of music, presents Spotlight on the Orchestra, a concert showcasing the incredible talent of student soloists.
Brooklyn Liljehorn and Angelina Olivera will perform Vivaldi’s electrifying Concerto for Two Cellos, while Garrett Farabaugh will share the expressive slow movement from Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21. The evening will also feature music by Holst, Elgar, and Karl Jenkins, highlighting the rich and dynamic range of orchestral sound.
