Current iea artist-in-residence Max Gausepohl will be giving a virtual artist talk from 12pm-1pm on Wednesday, May 14th via Zoom!Gausepohl (based in Hamburg, Germany):
"I have been working in the field of audio production. During my studies in time-based media at HAW Hamburg, I specialized in sound design and had the chance to work for different clients and collaborate with animation artists all over the globe. The experience I gained through this work is ranging from different recording techniques and classic studio work to spatial sound productions for VR-applications or fulldome experiences and sound installations or live performances. Besides a great variety of tools, an ever-growing network of excellent sound designers, musicians, recording artists and voice actors help me to meet just the right tone."
