Interested in Astronautical Engineering? Join us to help form a NASA RASC-AL competition team!
The NASA Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts – Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) Competition fuels innovation for aerospace systems concepts, analogs, and technology prototyping. The 2026 RASC-AL Competition seeks US-based undergraduate- and graduate-level teams to develop new concepts improving our ability to operate on the Moon, Mars, and beyond. This year’s themes range from developing systems/technologies to support exploration of the lunar surface, to enhancing humanity’s ability to operate and return data from the surface of Mars. All are invited to design and propose innovative solutions supporting original engineering and analysis in response to one of four themes. If you are interested, please come to the interest/information meeting at the basement of Schole's library at 6 p.m. to discuss forming a team here at Alfred University.
