Central Receiving features new paintings by alum artist, Trevor Bennett (MFA 2012). In his exhibition statement Bennett gives insight into his title "I like to pretend that my studio is the embodiment of a disordered shipping department – an ever-growing pile of images. I often paint to obscure or erase. I remove in an effort to organize. And sometimes when two things overlap in just the right way, I will catch my reflection."
