Welcome to the Alfred University Alumni Association. As written in the constitution, one of the purposes of the Association is to provide the means by which we can have a continuing relationship with our alma mater and fellow alumni. Through Alumni Association activities, we have fun renewing old friendships and making new friends while providing valuable volunteer service.
Membership in the Association
You are automatically a member of the Alumni Association
if you have completed at least two semesters at the undergraduate
or graduate level at Alfred University, or have been awarded
an honorary degree or honorary alumni/ae status. Association
meetings are held annually during Reunion Weekend and are
open to all members. Watch for the date in the Reunion
Weekend brochure mailed to your home and on the website.
The Alumni Council is
the governing and working body of the Association. For

Honoring AU Alumni
The Awards & Recognitions Committee is always seeking nominations for Annual Alumni Association Awards. Nominations are due by January 15th of each year, with the awards ceremony being held during Reunion Weekend in June. Each year it's such a pleasure to recognize alumni and others who have contributed so much to Alfred, their workplace and society in general.
Again, there is no better way to have fun and serve fellow alumni and our beloved alma mater than by participating in the Alumni Association and/or Alumni Council. We welcome your participation! If you are interested, please contact Jenny Rahr, Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events, or myself, or any of the officers or members.
