Alfred University (AU) is a private, nonsectarian university of about 1,700 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. Alfred is home to the Inamori School of Engineering, School of Art and Design, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and College of Business. AU is located between the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and the picturesque Finger Lakes in Western New York State.

Alfred University will accept: AP/IB/and a variety of college credit courses. Please speak with a counselor for more information.

AU's codes for score reporting: Our SAT code is 2005; our ACT code is 2666; for the FAFSA our code is 002668.

Early Decision: December 1
Regular Decision: February 1

AU accepts students on a rolling basis starting in late November.
We offer several opportunities for students to visit campus with individual visit days and open house events.
We have developed special information packets for school counselors and encourage you to email admissions to request one. Be sure to include 'Counselor Packet Request' in the subject line.
