This year we are introducing the 1836 Leadership Initiative, a select group of alumni and friends who choose to increase their contributions to The Alfred Fund to $1,836, the founding year of the Alfred Experience. Members celebrate the origins of Alfred University, founded on the principles of making higher education affordable and accessible to all, regardless of gender, race or religion.
